Roland Beaufre (1952)

Roland Beaufre known for his pictures of decoration and design, published for decades in World of Interiors or French House. The former architecture student there showed his personal vision of the interior, seeking to capture the atmosphere of the place. “I try to capture the moment with light, the whispers of the past, familiar objects …” he says.

This particular sensibility shines even more in the series of photographies made in Tanger, his adopted town and published in three books published by Gustave de Staël and Elena Prentice. Twenty of these pictures are now presented by Antoine Broccardo at ALB Antiquités gallery: black and white or color, these prints, made especially for the exhibition, tell the city of Tanger for almost 35 years.

Exhibition from April 15 to May 9 .
